Job Simulator is a cyberpunk hacking game ![]() ![]() It is compatible with Oculus Rift + Touch.Job Simulator is a cyberpunk hacking game.Obviously this makes a huge difference in Job Simulator where room scale is necessary. I have to jump through hoops to run Steam's room scale setup, and it will not keep that information when I close out of SteamVR or even reset my view. So in short, SteamVR is not getting the "room scale" information from the Quest 2 automatically and I don't see the green room border of room scale like I should. So I can eventually get it to work this way, but the second I close Steam VR OR if I hit "recalibrate view" from the steam VR menu, it messes up again. There's basically two room scale guardians running. The Oculus guardian is still there, but now so is a Steam one. When I go back into SteamVR though I can see a new green border of the room that wasn't there before, and now Job Simulator has a much bigger play space. I can kinda jankily make Steam's room scale work by, when I go to Job Simulator to install, it asks if I want to do room scale setup, which is a huge pain in the ass. I understand job simulator is unique with how it arranges the play space depending on how much room there is, which is why I'm guessing it's not being flagged with any other game i have. When I install and run it, the Job Simulator is clearly not seeing my room space and is only set to a standing room space. ![]() My guardian room scale set up is fine, and I can see it okay, but if I go to run Job Simulator on Steam, it gives a warning about "game requires room scale VR and you are currently set to standing". Room scale stuff for oculus games obviously work great.įrom everything I've read, the Quest 2 is supposed to automatically tell Steam what the boundaries of the room scale are. I am running a USB C cable from my computer to the device just fine, otherwise. Everything works fine except room scale through SteamVR. Hey everyone, I've posted this in other corners of the internet, and I've not really gotten any answers. ![]()
